PROGRAM ASSISTANT. Young Artists At Work(YAAW), Spring Session 2004

YAAWs develop artistic skills in bi-weekly workshops led by professional artists that culminate in a public presentation of our work. Students choose to explore visual or performance art and all students also attend the Film/Video as Activism class weekly. YAAW endeavors to cultivate future generations of artist-activists by providing up to 20 ethnically diverse public high school students (ages 14-19) with an intensive 7 month hands-on arts studio-based experience with a team of professional artists.
